Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Program for Student Therapists

The McGill Mindfulness Research Lab is recruiting graduate students studying to become a licensed therapist and who are working with clients for the first time for a study assessing the effectiveness of a new mindfulness and self-compassion program. Sessions will be 1.5 hours weekly for 6 weeks using Zoom.

Compensation (up to $100) will be provided for completing questionnaires on topics like your experience with mindfulness, feelings of anxiety or depression, your reactions to ambiguous situations, and your experience as a student.

COVID-19, Wellbeing, and Mental Health Study

The McGill Mindfulness Research Lab is recruiting mental health practitioners or individuals currently seeking or receiving psychotherapy for an online study assessing the impact of COVID-19 on wellbeing and mental health services. Please note the study is conducted in English. Duration of study: approximately 90 minutes.

If you choose to participate in this study, you will be asked to answer several questionnaires on topics such as your experience during the COVID-19 pandemic, your wellbeing, and your distress.
Compensation: you will be entered into a draw for the chance to win 1 of 40 $100 gift cards (there is a 1 out of 10 chance of winning).

Impact of COVID-19 on Individuals who Engage in Self-Injury

The McGill Mindfulness Research Lab is looking for individuals who currently engage in non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) to participate in a survey looking at the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on individuals who self-injure.
