The seminar will deal with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act and its effectiveness. Mr. Prinz and Mr. Schöne will describe the legal framework, contents and limits of the act and depict an implementation approach of one of their clients. The session will finalize with an open discussion with the students
Bio
Christian Schöne is Senior Manager for Digital Supply Chain Management at PwC Management Consulting Germany. Christian has more than 20 years of professional experience in digital supply chain management, with focus on E2E transformations, supply chain operating model definition & optimization, integrated business planning process design and implementation in SAP solution portfolio within various industries such as chemicals, mechanical engineering, food industry, pharmaceuticals, and many more.
Ralf-Christian Prinz is a Manager at PwC Management Consulting in Leipzig with focus on procurement matters. Before joining PwC, Ralf-Christian worked as a Project Manager for a leading German Procurement Consultancy. Ralf-Christian has 20 years of procurement experience with focus on material cost reduction, especially by negotiations and using of methods related to product cost management with focus on material cost. He has a depth expertise in the preparation of negotiations and in the systematic analysis of cost reduction potential in the entire value chain. Additionally, he is familiar with Sustainable Procurement approaches.
