The McGill Journal of Law and Health presents its first speaker series of the year, Mental Health and the Law: The Autonomy and Capacity of Mentally Ill Patients.

This student-run, bilingual event is meant to offer interdisciplinary perspectives on the laws surrounding involuntary treatment and the capacity of mentally ill persons in decision-making in Quebec.

Our guest speakers include Me Caitlin Jenkins, Me Nathalie Lecoq (LLB'96, LLM'05), and Professor Emmanuelle Bernheim (UQÀM).

This seminar is accredited by a recognized provider for 1.5 hours of Continuing Legal Education.
