Spanish Embassy Book Prize
A book prize to the best graduating student in Spanish Language and Literature or Civilization of Spain and Hispanic America. Awarded to a student in the Faculty of Arts on the recommendation of the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures.
Victor Ouimette Memorial Prize
Established in 1995 by family and friends in honour of Victor Ouimette, former professor and Chair of the Department of Hispanic Studies. Awarded for high academic standing to a student graduating with B.A. Honours in Hispanic Studies or M.A. in Hispanic Studies. Awarded by the Faculty of Arts Scholarships Committee on the recommendation of the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures. Value: $1,400.
Ecuadorian Award
Established in 2000 by the Ecuadorian Consul in Montreal for an undergraduate student in Hispanic Studies. Awarded to the undergraduate student in Hispanic Studies (Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures) who holds the best grade in the Survey of Spanish American Literature II.
