An Impossible Exam, A Brilliant Trick, and Lots of Laughter!
Students of ITAL 290: Commedia dell’arte present Gli Esami di Arlecchino, a performance that brings to life the humor and improvisational spirit of the theatrical tradition of Commedia dell'arte.
Synopsis:
The severe Dottor Balanzone puts Arlecchino, Pulcinella, and Colombina to the test with an exam that is as simple as it is impossible to pass. With outrageous answers and ridiculous solutions, the three find themselves failing miserably. But at the marketplace, they encounter Dottor Dulcamara, a seller of miraculous remedies. Will his magic powder turn them into geniuses? Or will they end up in even bigger trouble?
A show full of comedy, misunderstandings, and unexpected twists that will make you laugh and reflect!
