About Prospero Teaching:
We understand that moving to a new country can be a difficult and stressful process because several of us have moved abroad to teach ourselves. This is why we feel it is of upmost importance to assist you in every step of the way by providing guidance, advice and sharing our personal experiences to make it as easy as possible.
Prospero Teaching offers both Long-term and Substitute teaching positions so you can decide what the best fit is for you. Often we have teachers combine both options by starting out with the guaranteed supply to ease themselves into the education culture before switching to a long-term role in a particular school.
Long-Term - We set up interviews with schools and secure teachers with a 1 year contract or longer. Ideal for individuals that are ready to commit to a particular school and are really confident in their teaching abilities.
Substitute Teaching - Only offered in the UK at this time. Ensure you get fulltime work 5 days a week and allows you to get exposure to the UK education system before committing to a particular school. Ideal for individuals that don’t want to be locked into a contract and want flexibility. Many teachers choose to begin with supply and move into a long term position once they have become comfortable with the UK education system.
