From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Medical Education

A number of members of the Division are actively involved in scholarly work in medical education. Dr Linda Snell and Dr Jeff Wiseman conduct research projects in:

  • clinical teaching and learning
  • clinical reasoning
  • inter-professional education
  • principles of pedagogy
  • effectiveness of faculty development programs and of faculty development teaching and learning methods
  • core competencies in medical education, e.g., CANMEDS roles: communication skills, leadership and management, teaching skills and scholarship

Drs Snell and Wiseman are members of the Institute of Health Sciences Education at McGill University.
