Overview
Research is centered on work that engages Indigenous languages and knowledges in meaningful, community- grounded work. At this stage, research activity is anchored in graduate-level thesis work in Indigenous language reclamation and revitalization.
Graduate Research
Graduate research is primarily undertaken through the Ad Hoc MA and PhD programs in Indigenous Language Revitalization. These programs support individually tailored research pathways that reflect student interests and community priorities.
Indigenous Language Reclamation and Revitalization Lab
The Indigenous Language Reclamation and Revitalization Lab is a developing research hub at FAIIRK that will support research, training, and community-engaged projects related to Indigenous languages. Planning for space and programming is underway.
