Fellowship for Indigenous Students

Fellowship for Indigenous Students

The final report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (2016) issued a number of Calls to Action, including requests to build capacity in post-secondary education for Indigenous peoples and to commemorate and investigate Indigenous history. The Department would like to create a Fellowship for Indigenous Students to pursue an MA or a PhD at McGill. This initiative complements McGill’s recent creation of an Indigenous Studies Program and its ongoing commitment to integrating Indigenous perspectives and experiences in all facets of McGill’s academic mission.
