Sarah Bouhadoun

BIO: My name is Sarah Bouhadoun and I am a third year medical student at McGill University. I have a great interest in neurology, medical education and global health. My hobbies include travelling (especially backpacking), reading mystery novels and baking. A dream of mine is to be part of doctors without border and help communities that need it most.

PROJECT: I am currently working on a project that studies the influence of nocturnal epileptic discharges on sleep structures in epileptic patients. We aim to investigate the possible correlation of these electrical epileptic discharges on sleep continuity and sleep oscillations, and their eventual impact on patients’ cognitive functions.
