Professor Richard Budgell was a presenter and panel member at the recent Auviqsaqtut Inuit Studies Conference in Winnipeg, Manitoba, June 19-22, 2022. There were approximately 600 participants, most of them Inuit, from all across Canada and involved in diverse fields including health, education, fine arts and community organizing.
Professor Budgell made two seminar presentations: “Teaching About Inuit Health” and “The Loneliness of the Inuit Academic”, and was a participant in two panels, one on Inuit health and the other, on urban Inuit research.
