Congratulations to our 2025 cohort of Family Medicine residents who graduated on May 29 at the Hotel Bonaventure – you make us proud! Special congrats to Dr. Rayhaan Bassawon (who completed his residency in Gatineau) who won the inaugural Dr. Geeta Ishwar Gupta Resilience Prize. This was awarded by the Department of Family Medicine to a resident who, in the face of systemic barriers to education, has demonstrated resilience, academic excellence and a continued commitment to their studies.
