Student groups

Monteregian Society

The Monteregian Society is the society of undergraduate students within EPS/ESYS and is responsible for coordinating many departmental academic and social activities, usually in conjunction with its graduate counterpart, the Adams Club. Every undergrad student within the department is an automatic member of the Monteregian Society.

Society of Economic Geologists

The McGill student chapter of the Society of Economic Geologists promotes the understanding of mineral deposits and prepare students for careers in economic geology.

Earth System Sciences Student Group

Earth System Science majors have a lounge and a full calendar of social activities. Students are also part of the student groups of three majors: the McGill Undergraduate Meteorology Students Association (MUMSA), the EPS Monteregian Society, and the McGill Undergraduate Geography Society (MUGS).
