I am interested in how climate change and glacier recession will impact water resources in the glaciated Andes. With the rapid recession of mountain glaciers, the importance of groundwater as a water resource is rapidly increasing. I will use a broad range of field techniques including groundwater and river monitoring, water chemistry,  geophysics, and numerical modeling to understand the processes that control groundwater and hydrology. The goal of this research is to understand the impacts of climate change on water and society.
