Event Description:
The decision to build a company is a big one. In the fast-moving-get-rich-quick-on-to-the-next-adventure spirit of today it can be surprising to learn that building a company normally takes years. Having travelled the entrepreneurial path for the past 6-years and in the process of doubling the size of his company to 20 personnel, Department of Mechanical Engineering Alumni, Colin Gallacher, will provide concrete steps to take to avoid early mistakes in starting your entrepreneurial journey.
You are invited to hear Colin Gallacher, Co-Founder of Haply Robotics share his experience about starting and growing his company all while developing a new ventilator to fight COVID-19!
Haply's mission is to add touch to technology and change the way we interact with the digital world. They develop various technologies to incorporate the sense of touch to computers, smart phones, tablets and the new emerging virtual reality and augmented reality platforms.
