ANSYS announced (AUG2015) the availability of the ANSYS Student product for free. The ANSYS Student license is for personal educational purposes only. The analysis work performed with ANSYS Student must be non-proprietary, and the product may not be used for competitive analysis (such as benchmarking) or for any commercial work.
Eligibility: Professors and students.

** ANSYS Research licenses
If ANSYS student version is insufficient for your needs and you require access to a research license (at McGill in a non-EMF lab), we have limited research licenses available to share (yearly license fee applies). Please inquire with us if still available and if you are eligible --> contact us.
