From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au mardi 8 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. ECP’s Dr. Tara Flanagan on Canal Savoir’s television program, Campus!

Canal Savoir’s television program, Campus is profiling ECP’s Dr. Tara Flanagan out in the field!

They will be filming her in the Faculty of Education this Wednesday, January 23 for a meeting about the Un regard sur le handicap - Regarding Disability Film Festival for which she is the co-organizer. The festival is being held from March 21 to March 28, 2013.

They will also be following her to James Lyng High School (English Montreal School Board), a high school in St-Henri with an alarming dropout rate, where Dr. Flanagan leads a Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport (MELS) funded project entitled, STARS – Supporting Transition for At Risk Youth, which focuses on self-determination and youth empowerment with the aim of having students stay in school.

The episode should be airing in February/March of this year. We’re looking forward to it!
