Beth-Ann Cummings

Dr. Cummings is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine, an associate member of the Institute of Health Sciences Education (IHSE), and the Vice-Dean, Education and Community Engagement for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at McGill University. She obtained her MD,CM degree from McGill University, where she also completed her core residency in Internal Medicine and subspecialty training in General Internal Medicine. In 2011, she completed an MSc (Health Professions Education) from Maastricht University. Her clinical area of interest is perioperative medicine and her research is in health professions education. She is a member of the Equity in Health Systems Lab where her work focuses on inclusion and belonging, and the Research Group in Pursuit of Validity where her work focuses on validity in assessment.
