Jeunes Explorateurs d’un jour at McGill Dentistry

McGill Faculty of Dentistry participated in the Jeunes Explorateurs d’un jour initiative for the second year on Thursday, April 20, 2017. Jeunes Explorateurs d’un jour is a not-for-profit organization that provides an opportunity for Quebec secondary school students to experience a one-day internship in an area of particular interest to the. This year the Faculty welcomed five students from high school, most of whom were in Sec IV. The students observed in the clinic from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (rotating between stations), then had lunch in the lounge with dental students. They finished their day by attending Dr. Drummond’s class in the pre-clinic lab from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. A special thanks to the seven dental students helped make this day possible: Julie Cai (DMD II), Jun Li, Chrissa Zarafonitis, Michelle Yau, Aparna Narvekar, Paula Balisi and Anthea Chang (all DMD III).
