The Donald E. Armstrong Building, home of the Desautels MBA and specialized Master’s programs, has been shortlisted for Grands Prix du genie-conseil Québécois in the project management category.

Coinciding with a larger international trend, Canadian business schools are increasingly offering specialized graduate programs as alternatives to the traditional MBA. Two such examples are the new Masters of Management in Finance and the Masters of Management in Analytics offered by McGill’s Desautels Faculty of Management.

The Desautels community has come together for an amazing achievement.
Thanks to incredible donor support, Desautels has a new home for our Masters programs - and extra space for our BCom students.
Donors also created 34 new MBA awards for the #1 MBA Program in Canada and named more than 140 MBA Lockers.

The evening of May 1 was a special one for the second cohort of MMF students who celebrated the completion of their coursework and upcoming convocation.
The students marked their achievements at Hotel Nelligan in the company of professors, staff, and alumni who each contributed to the program throughout the year.

For example, in line with student feedback, the new building brings additional spaces for group work and quiet study areas, which will surely enhance learning.

Weekly guest lectures are an important component of the Desautels Masters of Management in Finance program. This past year included presentations from industry leaders in a diversity of fields, such as asset management, investment banking, venture capitalism and pension funds.
