Ludovic Robin rejoint le laboratoire Advicenne au poste de Directeur Général Délégué

Advicenne, le laboratoire spécialisé dans le développement et la commercialisation de produits thérapeutiques innovants destinés aux enfants souffrant de maladies neurologiques et nephrologiques rares ou négligées, a annoncé l’arrivée de Ludovic Robin au poste de Directeur Général Délégué, en charge du business et de la stratégie dès le mois de septembre 2016. Ludovic Robin est Docteur en Pharmacie (PharmD, Lyon I), titulaire d’un Master en Pharmacie Industrielle (IPIL, Lyon I) et d’un MBA (HEC Paris-McGill/Montréal).

Les absents (aux rendez-vous) ont tort

Lorsque je faisais mes premiers stages de médecine à l'hôpital, il y a plus de quinze ans, j'avais été surpris et indigné de constater que des rendez-vous de patients étaient programmés à la même heure ou à des intervalles de 15 minutes ou moins, alors que les consultations pouvaient durer en moyenne 20 à 25 minutes. On m'en avait expliqué la raison : c'était pour compenser le fait que, chaque jour, plusieurs patients ne se présentaient pas à leur rendez-vous ou l'annulaient in extremis.

The Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO) has been kicking goals recently and much of the credit must go to visionary CEO Sophie Galaise who has been with the orchestra for the past two and a half years. Galaise, who is French-Canadian, has just announced she is leaving us to become CEO of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. That sucks.

Louise Richer is appointed to the Order of Canada

Louise Richer is among the 69 Canadians newly appointed to the Order of Canada by his Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada.  She was nominated “for her contributions to the development and dissemination of the performing arts as director of the École nationale de l’humour.”  Louise founded the Ecole national de l’humour in 1988.  Since its launch, she has imagined, designed, developed, defended, reflected, enriched and propelled the school, which is now recognized internationally.  Louise is currently completing her EMBA with the

The business class of higher learning

It’s exactly those Type A personalities the McGill-HEC Montréal Executive MBA (EMBA) program attracts, and not without cause. The 15-month program involves one long weekend of classes per month, with two weeklong residential modules, one of which is spent abroad. People are often doing it in addition to full-time jobs, and, in many cases, they also have family responsibilities.
