MyFuture will be unavailable on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 8:00 am to 12 noon for system maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. On Tuesday Feb 22 from 6:45 am to 7:15 am, many McGill web sites (www.mcgill.ca/*) will be unavailable during system maintenance. During this period, users attempting to access any affected web site will view a message advising them of the downtime and providing links to key McGill IT services.
McGill IT Services will upgrade the search infrastructure on the McGill website starting on Friday, February 4 at 5 p.m. The new search engines will take approximately 10 days to index the content of all web pages. This may slow down performance of McGill web sites; however there should be no disruption to the web service or the search functionality.
Saturday Nov. 6, 2 pm to 6 pm: McGill Password Change on Minerva will be unavailable, and the Student and Staff Directory web pages will not display.
Please be advised there will be an electrical shutdown at several downtown buildings on Tuesday November 2 - 10 pm to 10:30 pm.
Banner, the enterprise system used at McGill to store all student, applicant, employee and finance data, will undergo a major upgrade from version 7 to version 8. Banner, Minerva, the portal and other systems will be unavailable from 5:00 pm Thursday, November 18 to 6:00 pm Monday, November 22. See the full announcement for a list of other systems that will be affected during this period.

The McGill Print server will be unavailable on Wednesday, October 27th from 11:00pm to 12:00am. This will impact all network printers on campus that connect to the central server. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Due to an electrical shutdown at McLennan Library, there will be no network connectivity available from 1:00 am until 6:00 am.
The BlackBerry Enterprise Server will be unavailable due to maintenance from 1:30 am to approximately 3:30 am on Saturday, October 16. During this period you will be unable to send or retrieve email or calendar events. Personal Information Management (PIM) synchronization will also be unavailable.
