Voice, Speech, and Gender; Intro to Speech Feminization

Free hour-long introductory workshop designed for trans women, trans-feminine people, and others interested in learning more about gender markers in voice and communications & how to affect their change.

The session will be lead by graduate students from the School of Communication Science and Disorders and supervised by Prof. Nicole Li-Jessen.

• Learn tricks and tips towards developing a healthy voice that feels comfortable to you
• Learn how the voice works, and how to take care of the voice if working towards pitch change
