Become a Mentor
What is the best advice you were given as a young professional? What advice do you wish someone had given you as you were exploring your career options?
Volunteer to share your industry knowledge, insight and personal experiences with current students and help students become more aware of the various career paths open to them. Each year we host career panels, networking events and the Engineers-in-Action Speaker Series, where alumni and other professionals share their experiences with current students.
Encourage your organization to hire an intern or co-op student, attend TechFair, recruit new grads through On-Campus Recruitment, or participate in mock interviews.
Become a mentor. The McGill Mentor Program is managed through a tri-partnership between the McGill Alumni Association (MAA), the Career Planning Service (CaPS) and the Student Organization for Alumni Relations (SOAR).
Join McGill Connect to share your experience with with current students and connect with other McGill alumni.
