The McGill University Adult Cardiology Training Program is one of the largest cardiology training programs in Canada. Our main objective is to graduate mature and competent specialists with a broad level of expertise in the diagnosis and management of both routine and complex cardiovascular disease. We are committed to preparing residents for their future career in cardiology, whether they will be community cardiologists or go on to further subspecialty training.
Our trainees benefit from a rich clinical experience in multiple clinical settings with a strong commitment to teaching. Our residents develop and demonstrate competencies in the medical knowledge, procedural skills, clinical judgment, scholarly approach, professionalism and interpersonal skills required of cardiologists. Finally, our Program aims to foster a healthy balance between service and education in a collegial and mutually respectful environment
