McGill Expert: Reaction: Obama 'racism' row

Story: Columnists, commentators and bloggers are debating whether the polarizing debate over U.S. President Barack Obama's health care reform package - including Republican Congressman Joe Wilson's 'you lie!" outburst -  and much more vigorous and vocal criticism of Obama is evidence of racism rearing its ugly head. New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd was among the first to assert that Wilson's heckle revealed an underlying racism in American political discourse.
