Hamid Akbarzadeh
Professor Hamid Akbarzadeh is a Canada Research Chair (CRC Tier 2) in Multifunctional Metamaterials, an Associate Professor in the Solid Mechanics and Bio-inspired advanced material and structure design in the Bioresource Engineering Department, and an Associate Member in the Mechanical Engineering Department of McGill University, Montreal, Canada. Professor Akbarzadeh exploits Fundamentals of solid mechanics, computational multiscale and multiphysics simulation, and Advanced manufacturing (3D printing and laser engraving) to develop next generation of architected multifunctional metamaterials and meta-structures with unrivalled multi-physical properties
