Welcome to the Global Working Group for Esophageal Patient Outcomes (GWEPO)

The GWEPO is a global initiative focused on advancing patient-centered care in esophageal cancer. We aim to improve the integration of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) into clinical practice, research, and policy to enhance the quality of life for patients worldwide.

• Identifying the most meaningful PROs for patients across their cancer journey.

• Developing standardized protocols for measuring and analyzing PROs.

• Promoting the inclusion of PROs in clinical registries and databases.
