The 2011 Lorne Trottier Public Science Symposium – Alternative Medicine under the Microscope - will be broadcast in English in two parts on the television network Canal Savoir. See the schedule below.

Part 1: Physicians Paul Offit and Harriet Hall, and physicist Robert Park tackle a variety of thorny issues in the area of “alternative medicine.” More about this talk

Part 2: Dr. Edzard Ernst initially trained at a homeopathic hospital in Germany, but is now a vocal critic of homeopathy and other forms of alternative medicine that he considers not to be evidence-based. More about this talk
