Areas of interest: 

Focused research interest on alternative imaging modalities for the assessment of pulmonary embolus that would avoid exposure of ionizing radiation, particularly in the young radiosensitive patient.

Developing imaging protocols in MR angiography that provide, equivalent accurate information and diagnosis as that currently attainable by CT angiography.

Research collaboration with medical biophysics and cardiac surgery for the evaluation of patients with thoracic aortic pathology to determine potential imaging biomarkers that could predict impending dissection and rupture.

Developing and applying artificial intelligence algorithms to improve interpretative skillsets of the radiologist, with particular attention to cardiovascular imaging.
