Watch Plurilingual Perspectives on Scholarly Writing for Publication

On Match 26th, 2026, the Plurilingual Lab hosted an online Speaker Series event titled the Plurilingual Perspectives on Scholarly Writing for Publication: Within, Através, y au delà des Frontières “nas Américas”, bringing together James N. Corcoran, Caroline Payant, Simone Sarmento, Laura Colombo, Mario E. López-Gopar, Lorena Córdova-Hernández, and Fiona Patterson for a rich multilingual discussion on scholarly writing, knowledge production, and the politics of publication across “the Americas.” The event invited participants to reflect on how diverse linguistic repertoires shape academic writing, identity, and the circulation of knowledge in an asymmetrical global context.
