Alexa Ahooja, Plurilingual Lab Speaker Series host and PhD student in Educational Studies, and Kevin Ah-Sen, incoming PhD student in Educational and Counselling Psychology.
McGill's International Cellphilm Festival recognizes the growing use of cellphones, the burgeoning work in the area of participatory visual methodologies in community-based research, and the role of videos shot on a cellphone, or cellphilm, as methodology. Every year, the festival accepts video submissions from all over the world. This year, there was a special call for videos addressing the challenges of COVID-19: Well-being in The Time of Distancing.
