Dr. Angelica Galante has been recognized with the 2021 Heather Reisman and Gerald Schwartz Award for Excellence in Teaching. Established in 2011 through a gift from Heather Munroe-Blum and Leonard Solomon-Blum, this award recognizes a member of McGill University's Faculty of Education for outstanding teaching.
As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education and Director of McGill University’s Plurilingual Lab, Dr. Galante received exceptional course evaluations and support from her students who attested to her commitment to student supervision, enthusiasm for education and teaching, leadership, and dedication to student life and learning.
