Carsten-Andreas Schulz is Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at McGill University. Before moving to Montreal, he was Associate Professor of International Relations at the University of Cambridge (2021-2026) and Assistant Professor of Political Science at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2015-2021). His research explores the historical development of international order, with a particular focus on Latin America's contribution to international norms and institutions. His work has been published in journals including American Political Science Review, International Organization, European Journal of International Relations, International Studies Quarterly, and others.
