Inaugural Lecture for the T.V. Paul Lecture Series in International Peace and Security

Amitav Acharya, Distinguished Professor of International Relations at American University, inaugurates the T.V. Paul Lecture Series in International Peace and Security with a talk based on his new book, The Once and Future World Order. Challenging Western-centric views of global politics, Acharya traces 5,000 years of world history to show how diverse civilizations shaped enduring forms of order, power, and exchange. He argues that global civilization will persist despite the relative decline of the West. The lecture will be followed by a reception. Please RSVP!
