Juliet Johnson

Juliet Johnson is a Professor in the Department of Political Science at McGill University and an Elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. Her research focuses on the politics of money and identity, especially in the post-communist world. She is the author of the award-winning Priests of Prosperity: How Central Bankers Transformed the Postcommunist World (Cornell, 2016) and A Fistful of Rubles: The Rise and Fall of the Russian Banking System (Cornell, 2000).

Fernando Nuñez-Mietz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at McGill University and focuses on international law, the use of force, and the politics of human rights and norm contestation. He is the author of The Use of Force under International Law (Routledge, 2019), and his work has appeared in leading journals including International Organization and International Studies Quarterly.

Carsten-Andreas Schulz is Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at McGill University. His research explores the historical development of international order, with a particular focus on Latin America's contribution to international norms and institutions. His work has been published in journals including American Political Science Review, International Organization, European Journal of International Relations, International Studies Quarterly, and others.
