Gender Transformation is defined as a practical, research-based approach that aims to identify and address the root causes of harmful gender norms, inequalities, and power imbalances. Rather than simply identifying the symptoms of inequality, gender transformation focuses on disrupting harmful gender norms, and developing active interventions that seek to create lasting, systemic change.
