The Chronic Pain Peer Mentorship Program

The Chronic Pain Peer Mentorship Program (CPPMP) at the Alan Edwards Pain Management Unit (AEPMU) is a new and innovative peer-based and volunteer-driven program that is delivered by patients trained to be Peer Mentors.

This program is designed to help patients and their family members connect with peer mentors who have lived experience with chronic pain. Through the mentor’s guidance, support, workshops, and resources, patients will learn various ways to improve their quality of life, despite persisting pain.
