When is Open House 2021?

McGill’s Open House 2021 for prospective students will be Virtual! Whether you live in Montreal or Morroco, in Saskatchewan or Sacremento, everyone is invited to join McGill’s 2nd Virtual Open House on Saturday, October 16 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm EDT.

Do I need to register to attend McGill's Virtual Open House, and if so, how?

Yes! Registration is required to attend Open House. Please register here.

What if I can't join the event at the 10:00 am start, will I be able to log in a little later in the day?

Absolutely! McGill representatives will be available to chat with you throughout the event. See the Schedule of Presentations and plan your attendance in advance.

Where can I find further details about the activities available at Open House?

For a list of information sessions offered at Open House, select the Presentations tab the Open House home page. Be sure to check out the schedule a few days ahead of the event, for any last-minute additions or changes.

Can I visit the downtown campus or Macdonald campus the day of Open House 2021?

While we look forward to welcoming you again on campus, we are not currently open to visitors. However, representatives from both campuses will be participating in Virtual Open House and will be available to answer questions about academic programs, student services, residences, and student life. You can also take a virtual tour to explore our campuses.

Will information on graduate studies at McGill be available at Open House?

Virtual Open House focuses on undergraduate programs, mainly. However, many departments will have staff on hand who can provide information on their graduate programs. You can also visit mcgill.ca/gradapplicants to explore over 400 programs McGill offers at the Master’s and PhD level, or join the Future Grads Network to learn more about the graduate experience and applying to McGill.

Are there other Open House dates, or other opportunities to visit or connect with McGill?

Open House is held once a year in the Fall. However, you may consult our events page to learn about upcoming recruitment activities and ways to connect with McGill students and staff throughout the year. Check back often for new dates! You can also take a virtual tour to explore our campuses.
