The Airyscan detector is based on a 32 GaAsP photosensitive elements honeycomb array allowing the capture of the full airy disc and further reconstruction of the source object with increased sensitivity and resolution. Due to the fact it bypasses the pinhole the light gathering capability of the Airyscan detector is increased 4x-8x. |
