Walk-a-Thon Fundraiser for Centraide

Mark your calendars and get ready to lace up your walking shoes for the MURA Retirees Walk for Centraide walk-a-thon and lunch on Wednesday October 21, 2026!  To raise money as part of McGill’s Centraide campaign there will be a walk-a-thon around campus, approximately 2.5 km, from 10:30 – 11:30 in the morning, followed by a lunch at the Faculty Club from 11:30 – 1:30. During lunch there will be a 50/50 draw and a silent auction.  If you unable to participate in the walk, come out and cheer on the walkers and join us for lunch.  Walkers will be encouraged to collect sponsorships; reach out to friends, neighbours and family.  Think of all the chocolate bars and other things you have purchased to support your kids or grandchildren’s activities. Now is time to flip the script and get them to support/sponsor you. Every dollar adds up and goes towards great causes. Stay tuned for more information on how to register and what to expect.  See you on October 21st!
