12:30 PM: Pasta Lunch Come join the Newman Centre every Monday for a wonderful pasta lunch cooked by director Robin!

3:30 - 5:00 PM: Charting the Future of Christian Witness in Canada: A Talk with Kimberly Heath, Moderator of The United Church of Canada. Kimberly Heath is the 45th Moderator of the United Church of Canada, a role she has held since August 2025. She will explore key challenges and opportunities for the church in this talk. This event is hosted by the Montreal Diocesan Seminary affiliated with McGill. All are also warmly welcome to join at 7pm that evening for Montreal Dio’s annual Convocation to celebrate the accomplishments of several United Church of Canada students.

7:00 PM: Montreal Dio. Convocation Location: St. George's Place du Canada (1101 Rue Stanley). The Montreal Diocesan Seminary affiliated with McGill is having its Convocation Service with a reception to follow. Looking forward to celebrating together!

Tuesday

11:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Art Hive Open Studio A space devoted to making art and community, located within the Healthy Living Annex at the Student Wellness Hub.

12:00 PM: Taco Tuesday is every Tuesday at noon at the Newman Centre! Join us for a $5 lunch!

Wednesday

6:00 PM: St. Martha's Weekly Bible Study Our Bible study happens every Wednesday. It starts at 6 p.m. Meet at Undercroft, 635 rue Ste-Catherine ouest, Montreal. Email sarah [at] stemarthe.ca if interested or for more information.

6:00 - 8:00 PM: Bible Study with the Church of A&P's Young Adult Ministry. We are starting a new study on Wednesday nights, "Encountering Jesus". This will be a 5 week study of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. The focus on this day will be parables. A light dinner will be served.

Thursday

10:30 - 12:00 PM: CBT Workshop This 90-minute workshop consisting of two sessions will introduce students to a variety of cognitive behavioural therapy techniques to help manage anxiety and mood, including strategies for relaxation, managing stress, and achieving more balanced thinking. Please plan on attending both dates.

12:00 - 1:00 PM: PhD Support Group Join the group for ideas, encouragement, motivation and a sense of connectedness!

7:30 PM: Challah Bake with Hillel Montreal.
A night to bake, connect, and unwind.

Friday

6:00 - 8:00 PM: Summer Social: Mont Royal Sunset Join ISS and other fellow international students on the Mont Royal Sunset event which is one of the Summer Socials this year. We will hike up Mont Royal and enjoy the stunning landscape of the city of Montreal during sunset. Not to mention, this is a great opportunity to meet new people, share stories, and make friends!

7:45 PM: Shabbat Dinner with Chabad McGill. Services at 7:45 pm. Dinner will follow at 8:15 pm. Please register on their RSVP system.
