Dr. Ellen J. Kim completed medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, her internship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, and her residency at the combined Boston University/Tufts University Dermatology Programs. She joined the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 2003 as dermatology faculty in the multidisciplinary Penn Cutaneous Lymphoma Program, Abramson Cancer Center and is currently Assistant Director of the Penn Cutaneous Lymphoma Program, and Medical Director of the PCAM Dermatology Clinic. Her areas of expertise are diagnosis and management of cutaneous lymphomas, clinical trials of novel treatments for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL), and extracorporeal photopheresis. She currently serves on the US Cutaneous Lymphoma Consortium Board of Directors and is Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee of the Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation. She has been recognized for her teaching and clinical care. Recent awards include the Leonard Berwick Memorial Teaching Award (Perelman School of Medicine, 2013), the Christian and Mary Lindback Foundation Award for Distinguished Teaching from the University of Pennsylvania (2016) and Top Docs of Philadelphia (2018). Dr. Michael Girardi is currently Professor, Vice Chair, Research Fellowship for Clinical Investigation, the Johns Hopkins Zeligman Award, and the Blavatnik Innovation Award at Yale University. He has delivered over 100 national and international lectures, has served as the Co-Director for the Yale Director, and Residency Program Director for the Department of Dermatology, Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Girardi received his MD in 1992 from the Yale School of Medicine and completed his dermatology residency and research fellowship at Yale. Dr. Girardi’s laboratory has been funded by the NIH/NCI for 18+ years and is credited with contributions to our understanding of cutaneous lymphoma, skin immunology, and skin cancer development. Dr. Girardi also runs a translational research program for the management and treatment of cutaneous lymphomas, serves as Director of the Yale Photopheresis and Phototherapy Unit and Co-Director of the Yale Cutaneous Lymphoma Group, and is member of the board of United States Cutaneous Lymphoma Consortium that formulate and publish the criteria guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of CTCL. Dr. Girardi’s honors include election to the American Society Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Immunology and Immunotherapy Program. Dr David Roberge is a full professor of radiology, radiation oncology and nuclear medicine at the University of Montreal and an adjunct professor of oncology at McGill University. He has fellowship training in cutaneous lymphoma at the Stanford University multidisciplinary clinic. He is now head of the radiation oncology department at Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal; cutaneous lymphoma is amongst his clinical and research interests.
