Undergraduate Studies

Welcome to the Mining Engineering co-op program’s website. This website contains information about the Mining Engineering program and courses, co-operative education, awards and student life.

The Bachelor of Mining Engineering program is a Co-op program where students are required to work for a minimum of 12 months within the minerals, mining, oil, and gas, and energy sectors. While many industrial jobs are in Quebec, some 60% of the co-op work terms are outside of the province. Canadian and international students can work in most locations all over the globe depending on opportunities. Students may also participate in the MUST or Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURE) with a Professor in a research lab.
