World Restart a Heart (WRAH) is a global initiative that aims to increase public awareness and rates of bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). During the week of October 11, 2021, members of the McGill Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) will lead a special Bicentennial edition of the WRAH 2021 campaign at McGill. This student-led interprofessional initiative brings together students, residents, faculty members, healthcare professionals, and administration from the FMHS, the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning (SCSIL) and the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC).

The goal of this campaign is to educate communities across Canada about the importance of bystander CPR and to enhance CPR knowledge and skills... and ultimately, to reduce the number of cardiac arrest deaths.

We invite you to visit www.mcgill.ca/wrah to discover the Campaign and its impactful videos and live events, and to follow #McGillWRAH on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Come visit the WRAH booth at the Roddick Gates on October 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Simulated manikins will be available to practice your CPR skills!

*Please note that only McGill staff, faculty and students are authorized to visit this location, in light of the current public health measures.
