Our MAUT office is located on the east side of Peel Street, a short distance below the corner of Penfield and Peel. The office contains a general meeting room [#303] in which Executive and Committees meet, in addition to the offices of our two permanent employees: Administrative Officer (#202) and Professional and Legal Officer (#302).

Membership Engagement Officer Jo-Anne Watier is in charge of membership, recruitment and engagement. She maintains membership records, a database of member expertise and experience, provides annual statistical analyses, develops and updates a network of departmental MAUT representatives, and supports their activities. She tracks MAUT accomplishments and promotes awareness of them within MAUT and externally. Jo-Anne also manages our organization on a daily basis, and arranges all meetings and special events from her office on the second floor. She is an invaluable source of information on our committees and schedules, and will provide answers to almost any question about the activities of MAUT.

Joseph Varga provides information, assistance, and legal advice on a confidential basis to any member upon request, as well as to the Executive and Council during MAUT meetings. He is very knowledgeable about all of the McGill regulations and policies, and can often provide the necessary information entirely by telephone. You may also arrange for an appointment in his office on the third floor.
The list of MAUT Advisors is also maintained by the Professional and Legal Officer. Advisors are assigned as required.
