Fundraising

The McGill Lymphedema Research Program welcomes donations from patients and their family and friends.

Dr. Towers and the members of the McGill Lymphedema Research Program are very grateful to the generous, anonymous donor who gave a $30,000 gift for the purchase of a Perometer. A Perometer is an infra-red optoelectronic measuring devise that records segmental measurements and automatically calculates the volume of a limb. It is used in research protocols to track limb volume over time.

Donations are used to fund studies on the prevention of lymphedema and the assessment of lymphedema treatments and to purchase equipment needed for such research.

If you or someone you know would like to give a donation, please contact Anna Towers by anna.towers [at] mcgill.ca (email) or by phone at 514-934-1934 ext. 78716.
