Qs: do right to left scripts invert measuring scales?

Just a naive query but does anyone know whether languages that are written right to left also invert measuring scales, so that least value is rightmost snd value is increasing leftward on the scale? Idem but for mirror image writing like da Vinci’s, did he mirror scales too? Thanks for responding!😘
