Alwin Fill studied English and Latin Philology at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. After his graduation, he was a Florey Scholar at Queen’s College, Oxford, UK, and a visiting scholar at Ann Arbor, USA. He worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the English Department at Innsbruck, where he completed his habilitation.
