Délie ta langue !

Suspect you might have a talent for public speaking? Délie ta langue! is an interuniversity competition focusing on l'art oratoire, where you train in public speaking, represent McGill as a finalist, and compete for  prizes totalling up to $12,000. In the final competition, you take the stage with a speech built around a French expression, tied to a social issue you care about. The deadline is October 25.

Mignardises littéraires

Ever been told you have a way with words? Take part in the new season of Mignardises littéraires!

McGill students are invited to submit an original piece of creative writing in French for the fourth season of Mignardises littéraires, a podcast produced by Université de Montréal.

There are no restrictions on form, genre or theme, and a selection committee will choose about 15 pieces. The deadline is Oct. 27, 2026. 

Open to undergraduate and graduate students.
